Kanchanaburi Trip

On 16th Jul., we went to Kanchanaburi province
which take about 2 hours from my house. Since we planned
to visit many places so we departured from 6:30 am.
and we arrived Kanchanaburi at around 8:30am.

The first place we visited is the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery
that keep the Foreigners Navy died from war. We found some
pictures put on a tomb and they may come to visit their
related person. So sad for them...

Not far away from the cemetery, we could find
the Keaw Bride that they made since world war two
and we paid for 20 baht to for 10 min. across the river..

There are many museums in Kanchanaburi and most of it
will explain about the memorial of World War II. This place
just nearby the Keaw bridge and we have to pay 20 baht each.
Panda-kun's face seems like a Thai people so he also paid 20 baht ^^

At the gate, we could see the real train using in World War II
and Japanese left in Thai. It's very old but they allowed to
go inside and see.

Inside the museum, they provided many things using during the war
such as machine guns and samurai blade!

Panda-kun spent much time in this room because there are
a lot of secret pictures put on the wall that he never seen before (^^)
They also put the skeleton in the box, so scared ><

Inside the local museum, they provided many demonstrations
when the World War II happened. Japanese soldiers
came into Thailand for making the train across to the
other countries by using the prisoner of war to make it.

After that, we visited the Hellfire Pass to see the
remained train railway.

The beauty scene made us forgot the feeling of war...

But after we walking for a while, we found the railway
and the narrow passing way made by humen.
They dig out the mountain by humen's hands and
working all night long by using the lantern and normal
digging tools, so they called this place as "Hellfire Pass"

Change the feeling from World War II by turning to
the movie studio for "Naresuan King"

The movie explained about the historical of Thai
defensed the country from Burma with Naresuan King,
the great leader at that time.

The imitate of Thai and Burma living style and also
the inside of the palace.

When we were there, some scene was shooting so
we could see the 2 aunties with the ancient Thai costume. ^^
We could also try their soldiers' costume that they
provided at the exist.

Panda-kun said Kanchanaburi is the other his favorite place
next from Phuket ^^ Glad to hear that...
