Niigata 29 Dec.-1 Jan. 2011

After left Shizuoka, we directly go to Niigata (hometown
of Panda-kun) Along the way to Niigata, we could see
the snow falled that I really excited because this is
the second time that I could see the snow falling.
The roof covered by the snow at Nakaoka city made
me feel like i'm in the calendar picture that I have seen
before.

Shinkanzen is very cute and the people there took
this pictures for us without any asking to them (^^)
very impressed....

But along way to Panda-kun's home town, Panda-kun
made me worried with his nose bleeding!!! Maybe
because of the different weather from Shizuoka and
Niigata (^^')

We reached home quite late, Panda-kun's mom
made us for dinner with fried shrimps, nice and fulled (^^)

After dinner, we went to have a walk outside to see
the first snow in Niigata after arrival. Nobody on the
street at this time, just only 2 crazy persons (^^')

Hyoko at Niigata "Swan Lake"...
We went here last time on summer and there'r few swan
in the lake. This time, we heard swans' noise from the gate
and feel like a thousand of swans screaming (^^)
We spent time here to see swans fry from the lake to
have some food to eat at somewhere and coming back again.
They eat dried rice and seem like they love it (^^)
The moutain view at the back of the lake is different from
summer because snow covered at the top of the mountain...

After that we have lunch at "Igarashi Garden Restaurant"
Panda-kun's friend seem already booked for us. During
waiting for the seat introduction, we could have inside
tour also.

They called this kind of set menu as "Kaiseki" with
healthy food including of mostly Tofu (^^)

Japanese food will complete the set with rice which different
with Thai style because we will eat rice together with foods.
Rice come after I feel full from many foods already (^^')

After we finished our lunch, we went to Sake's factory.
It's a small factory but fullish of information and also trial section.
Sake in Niigata is very famous because rice from here is
very well-known and very expensive in Japan so they could make
a good quality of Sake here. Panda-kun bought "Umechu" for me
and I really really like it taste once I have trail from the staff (^^)
I'll try to keep it till Panda-kun come to stay in BKK then
we could have it together....

After that we went to a Ski place "Ninox" which crowded of
people there. We didn't prepare to play ski, just only
look and take picture (^^')

During the way back, I could also see the snow falling
but just few of it and really hope to see more at night
that they said a lot of snow in the night time today....

We also went to Hot Spring to have onsen there too..
Many people come for onsen here and also foreigners
like Russian people in Lady side. It's night time already
so we couldn't see the view outside when having onsen.

We take about 1 hour in onsen but I took only half hour
inside because it's too hot...

After onsen, we decided to have Takoyaki cooking
at Yoneda-san's house so we went to supermarket
to buy the ingredients.
This's my first time to cook it by myself with fulled of
weapons for making Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki (^^)
The taste was nice with our own favorite filling like
Choco, Tarako, Mentaiko and so on... Cool!

During we was cooking Takoyaki, snow falled outside
and very heavy. I rushed out to take photo with it that
i'm waiting for it long long time (^^)

I couldn't hold my camera because I afraided that it'll
be wet and broken. Snow is soft and beautiful.....
I'll not forget this night forever....

Next morning, we waked up and see the street is
covered with snow different with the first night that
had only few of it. It's beautiful but too difficult
for transportation (^^') But I still like it...

Panda-kun brought me to a school with having the big yard.
We are the first person who could step on the yard covered
with snow from last night. So fun!
I tasted the snow and it's like ice's taste...
After that we went to respect Panda-kun dad at the tomb
with mom. Now I feel scared when mom driving on the
wet road with many snow remained on the street.

We could take a rest at a small house of an old guy
who take care of this tomb with his cute cat sleep in
the warm house. He still use an old heater, so classic heater (^^)

At night, mom ordered Sushi!! Very nice Sushi...
Japan will celebrateNew Year by going to the shrine
to pray god for any wishes we want. There'r a lot of people
come and queued for praying god, but only few shops tonight
so a bit disappointed... I hope to see more shops
like I ever seen in TV (^^)

Panda-kun bought me "Omamori" and we also have
Soba which Japanese believed that you life will be longer
like Soba (^^) It's about 1 am. already when we took Soba,
my stomach fulled with food (^^')

On the last day at Niigata, we celebrated New Year
again with "Osechi" food. Mom ordered a special meaningful
of Japanese food today. It's very very beautiful....

There's the meaning in each food inside the box which
I quite not know about it (^^') But seem like good luck...

I have the very great time in Niigata with all support of many
people here to make my trip fun. Thank you all of you guy
and especially Panda-kun (^^)
